SUBMISSIONS
As a new Italian publishing house, Kudos is looking for comics, graphic novels and manuals.
Do you have a project or dream that you want to submit to our publishing house?
Follow our guidelines below and we will be happy to see if we can help bring your project to life!
The Kudos team will try to review and reply to all emails received, but we may not have the time to get to everyone. If you haven’t heard from Kudos in a month, then it means we have been busy and that we will not be accepting your submission at this time.
Review the required materials below, and include them with the Submission Agreement signed by all members of the creative team. Please note that at this time, Kudos is accepting published or unpublished comics, created by single authors or from a full creative team, pencilers and inkers portfolio, and stories written by scriptwriters who are searching for an artist to work on their project. We read submissions in English or Italian language only.
In case you are sending comic projects: to allow us an easy selection of the material, we invite you to take particular care in the creation of the pitch and the plot summary, which must not contain superfluous elements and must be concise. Furthermore, given that our target markets are mainly American and French, we cannot accept stories that are too local in their nature (Neapolitan folklore, tutorials on how to cook pasta, etc.).
In case of sending scripts, to avoid incurring errors in form, syntax, or plot, we recommend reading the following manuals:
-
Stephen King - On writing;
-
Robert McKee - Story;
-
Blake Snyder - Save the Cat!;
-
Christopher Vogler - The Writer's Journey.
